About Joey

My name is Joey Basta the co- founder (Jesus Christ is the founder) of Building Others Up Network. I want to personaly welcome you to our ministry Blog.

This ministry is put together to help build you up so you do not lose your faith in your trials.

As Christians, we go through various trials throughout our Christian walk and we need to maintain our faith and trust in Christ.

Here at Building Others Up, we focus on being Successful with Christ, NOT successful as the world defines success .

By staying grounded in the Word, Mediataing on the Word, in Prayer, and Fellowship, then we will become Successful as Christians. -Joshua 1:8

My prayer is that this ministry will bless you, encourage you, and build you up so you will continue to keep the Faith and have Endurance to run the race that is set before you. -Hebrews 12:1

It is my deepest desire that this ministry will Build Up the faith of my fellow Christians, through edification, exhortation.

As a person, whether believer or non-believer we are guaranteed hard times. But we as Christians will go through greater trails, storms, valleys and temptations because the enemy is like a roaring lion looking to destroy us. -1 Peter 5:8

We also go through these circumstances as a test of our faith, as a character builder, as a melting and molding process that is brought by the Lord to strengthen us for HIS purpose and kingdom.

Please continue to stop by from time to time to see what the Lord had put on our hearts, and to get a good supply of encouraging articles, real life stories and teachings that will help build your faith and build you up towards becoming a successful disciple of Christ.

Special Note:

• I am always looking for real life stories, articles and teachings that have to do with encouragement that will Build my readers up in their Faith. This is a network and I want to share your struggle stories and your success stories with others. If you have something to share, please email me @ BuildingOthersUp@Yahoo.com so I can take a look at what you want to share and get it posted. We will even post video’s if you have a video encouragement.

• Also, along with God putting encouraging others in my heart, He has also put in my heart in a BIG way, to reach out to youth in the skateboarding community. I do not skate myself (But I plan to learn , but I love skateboarding. I can watch it all day long. I have partnered up with a ministry named Christian Skaters International www.ChristianSkaters.com. I am the head of the Long Island Chapter here on Long Island NY. I am in the process of getting this ministry started and can use all the help I can get. If you have a heart for skaters, contact me ASAP. I don’t know where this ministry is going, but I AM WILLING !!!
