Julie Woodley has a BA in Christian Education, an MA in Counseling from Liberty University, and a Certificate in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary. Julie is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of new York. She was ordained in May of 2000.
Julie helped start the Becomers Program, a support group for those recovering from sexual abuse. While working within this program and in conjunction the Christian Recovery Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, she has counseled clients suffering from life’s various traumas, seeing lives changed and restored through the love of Jesus.
Julie’s story has been aired on radio by Billy Graham’s “Decision Today,” “Focus on the Family” and “Unshackled” of Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, Illinois. She is married to Pastor Matt Woodley and they have four children. Pastor Matt is currently the Senior pastor at the Three Village Church in Long Island, New York. They have co-authored a book: Restoring the Heart, telling Julie’s story.
